Summer Wedding at Nancarrow

Wow! This was a little bit special. Sophie is an event organiser by trade, so with her handy work and Nancarrow together it was a perfect wedding combination! Click through to see lots more of my Nancarrow Farm wedding photography.
Sophie and Alex created a super fun day, filled with laughter and joy from morning to night. I've been photographing weddings for seven years now, and I'm not a fan of 'top 5 lists', but this was a special wedding to photograph.
Summer Ceremony
I started my day with Sophie and bridal prep in the barn, and headed back out to a nearby pub to see how Alex and his groomsmen started their day. With guests arriving, Sophie was getting the final touches ready in the bridal suite. The wedding ceremony itself was truly special, a celebrant ceremony which included some acoustic guitar. I was so surprised it included the theme from The Detectorists, a very special song which I now realise is so suited to weddings! It involved literally tying the knot, with the Cornwall colours of black and gold.
After a sea of confetti it was time for drinks in the courtyard and speeches. The day just kept on giving for moments to capture. The speeches were funny and moving in equal measure. We snuck away for some portraits in the nearby field at sunset before embracing a crazy dance floor. Ties on head kind of dance floor!
