Launcells Barton Wedding Photography
Lucia & Mark
Earlier this year was the wonderful wedding of Lucia & Mark, at Launcells Barton. This was my first time as a wedding photographer at Launcells Barton, and knowing what Lucia and Mark had planned I drove up to north Cornwall very exited for the day ahead. Lucia and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the beautiful house. It was a lovely relaxed morning, and we could see people arriving for the ceremony, which would be held at the beautiful church just a short walk across the gardens.
One of the things I love about photographing weddings is documenting the personalities on the day, and the vicar for the service had that and then some! I couldn’t help but smile when it came to walking down the aisle and he’s singing (bellowing?) the words to ‘here come’s the bride’! It was a wonderful service and I was spoilt for choice with the big glass windows and space within the church to roam for photos. The sun was with us all day. With guests enjoying their canapés in the courtyard we slipped away and captured some portraits in the tree lined driveway before heading back inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
A wedding first for me was sitting on the back of a tractor trailer heading up to a nearby field for some photos at sunset, bouncing around the county lanes trying to get a steady shot of our journey was a lot of fun! We were blessed with some amazing light and Lucia and Mark made it so easy by just being themselves and smiling throughout. The sun dipped below the horizon and we headed back to the dance floor. It was a fantastic wedding day with some wonderful people. Thank you to Lara and Matthew, the owners of Launcells Barton, for being so helpful on the day.
So here we are, some of my favourites from Lucia & Mark’s Launcells Barton wedding…
“We are absolutely thrilled with the photos, you captured our special day perfectly.”
