This was a joy of a wedding day! The lovely Marine Theatre wedding of Catrina and Charlie. A wedding day filled with fun, love plus a cheeky sea swim! This was my first visit as a Marine Theatre wedding photographer. Being based in Devon, I've spent many a sunny summer's day in Lyme Regis. Particularly on the hunt for the famous fossils. Catrina and Charlie saw me in action at another family wedding a year previous, so when they got in touch about their Marine Theatre wedding I was very excited.

Wedding Photographer at Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis

It was lovely to see some familiar faces upon arrival. The ceremony was wonderful, conducted on the theatre stage itself it made for a truly unique wedding ceremony. One that I've not seen before or since. With the theatre lighting providing a colourful atmosphere, it was a lot of fun to photograph.

Guests enjoyed some time in the sun, taking in the views of Lyme Regis beach during the reception whilst the amazing team at Marine Theatre converted the room for the wedding breakfast. We were treated to a true summer's day, with a pastel sunset in the evening. This is when Charlie and some guests opted for an impromptu swim in the sea. With a quick dry, and still wet hair in place, it was time for the first dance and some chaotic dance floor action! A truly wonderful wedding day!
