Devon Orchard Marquee Wedding

This was a magical wedding day. A truly unique wedding that I don't think I'll see the likes of again in my time as a wedding photographer. The wonderful Vienna & Cameron planned a beautiful wedding at the family home, which just happens to include a stunning apple orchard. A wedding filled with personal touches, the phrase DIY wedding does not do it justice.

Upon driving in the theme and decor was on point, with Sentiment Signs showing guests where to head for the ceremony. The flowers were something else, decorating the marquee, signposts and the orchard itself were the ceremony was to be held. Kudos to Tara's Garden Flowers and Stowford Flowers for doing such an amazing job.

After a fun morning in the house, as the final touches were being applied, it was off for a unique entrance from the top of the orchard, leading down to the guests. It was a joy of a ceremony to photograph, it was clear to see how much this day meant to everybody in attendance.

The day moved onto the marquee for guests to enjoy some hilarious speeches and tasty food. This is when it feels so lucky to be a wedding photographer, being invited into someone's home and looked after so well. It was a fun filled evening filled with ceilidh dancing and cake and I finished my day with some late night portraits under the florescent lights. These ended up being some of my favourite photos from the year, not a bad way to wrap up the day! Thank you to Vienna, Cam and everyone for such a beautiful day, it was a privilege to photograph.
