Exmouth Marquee Wedding Photography

This wedding had everything! I couldn't ask for a better day to turn up to with my camera bag and get shooting. From the people involved, the stunning setting of the family home and all the way through to the packed dance floor, it was non stop fun.

I had the pleasure of meeting both Laura and Jack years previous as guests at another wedding, and when it was time for their big day I was sooooo happy they got in touch to photograph it for them. They created the perfect home wedding with a marquee in the garden overlooking the River Exe.

Exmouth Wedding Day

After a fun morning bouncing between houses for preparations, as the final touches were being applied to the ceremony space on a windy day, it was was time for the big moment. It was a joy of a ceremony to photograph, it was clear to see how much this day meant to everybody in attendance.

The day moved onto the marquee for guests to enjoy some hilarious speeches. This is when it feels so lucky to be a wedding photographer, being invited into someone's home and looked after so well. I had a strong feeling from previous wedding days with this crew that it would be a fun dance floor and it didn't disappoint. Seeing the band end their set in style and packing away the gear at the end of the night, I drove home with a smile on my face for being reminded what a fantastic job this is and what privilege it is to be asked to play a small part in an epic day.
