Dartmouth Marquee Wedding
Emma & Matt
This was a joy of a wedding day! The lovely Dartmouth marquee wedding of Emma & Matt, specifically Little Dartmouth up on the cliff overlooking the sea. What a location!
My day started with the wedding party in Dartmouth itself, in a spectacular Air BnB that had stunning views of the estuary. With the girls getting ready upstairs, and the boys downstairs, I don't think I've had fewer logistics to manage on a wedding morning. Heading up the hill for the ceremony itself the weather was being a tad stubborn, holding tight onto the sea mist. With a slight delay in start time, and a quick drying of the seats, the mist burnt off and provided a great view for the ceremony.
The ceremony itself was wonderful, conducted by lovely Jessica of Pomp And Ceremonies, and guests later enjoyed some fantastic food provided by the ever amazing Pickle Shack. The speeches were a real highlight for me, some inside, some outside providing some natural variety within the photos. With Matt's mum providing a brilliant speech that resembled more of a best man roast! As the sun went down we took a moment to grab some portraits in the surrounding fields of the marquee, erected by the great team at Hatch Marquee Hire. Here's a selection of their Dartmouth marquee wedding...
"It was a real pleasure having Lee with us on our wedding day... Guests loved chatting to him and he made us feel really at ease, and we love the photos that have just come through!"
