Croyde Marquee Wedding

My oh my, everything just clicked on this magical day. This is the wonderful Emily & Eddie and their Croyde marquee wedding day. A big thank you to the amazing Tracy and Bridget at Blue Fizz events for connecting us, this was a season highlight for sure!

My day started with the wedding party in Croyde, just down the road from Down End Field where the marquee was set up. The champagne was flowing and everyone enjoyed a fun morning with a late breakfast and getting ready for a great day ahead.

It was early summer, and we we treated to some amazing weather. The ceremony itself was held in the marquee, overlooking Croyde Beach. Now, typically the bride and groom are the star of the show, but their lovely dog Arlo would make a strong run at this title for sure. A first for me was to see a groom with three best men, a popular man it seems! This was one reason why the speeches were a highlight of the day, from old family photos to a classic roasting of the groom, it had it all.

Being such a beautiful location we popped down to Croyde Beach for some portraits during golden hour, before heading back for a great night in the marquee as the evening, and the tide, came in. This lead to one of my favourite photos of the year, the sparkler exit. Here's a selection of Emily and Eddie's Croyde marquee wedding day...
