2022 / Some Of My Favourites
Here we are, nearing the end of 2022, and it's time to look back on the last twelve months of weddings. As with every year it's hard to sit down and choose one hundred or so images and put some thoughts to it, but I find it a super useful process to take a beat, evaluate it all, and go in strong to 2023. A big thank you to all the amazing couples who trusted me to photograph their day. Peak season is a bit of whirlwind and it's great to sit back now and look back at this truly wonderful wedding season that I've enjoyed so so much. Thank you to everyone, suppliers and all, who made me feel so welcome and included, it was a blast.
Back in the Game!
The wedding momentum carried on from the summer of 2021, when weddings returned proper. I still photographed weddings this year that were originally planned for 2020. With that I travelled a fair bit around the UK and the usual happy stomping grounds of Devon and Cornwall, visiting some old favourites and exploring some new locations too.
This might be your first visit since I re-designed the website in the autumn, if so, welcome! As a result I've been busy posting lots of wedding stories these last few weeks. I travelled west as far as Penzance for some Prussia Cove wedding photography for Kayley & Luke, and east as far as Oxfordshire for Jessica & David's The Great Barn wedding photography. I visited the amazing Tunnels Beaches three times, had a super summer return for Upton Barn wedding photography, plus a first visit for some Cadhay wedding photography with Ally & Chris. A real peach of a year!
So here we are, a collection of some of my favourite photos from 2022. If you've seen some previous round up posts of mine you may know that there's no criteria to this set. From big weddings to small, black tie weddings to DIY weddings, I love them all. The only factor was that these images bring a smile to my face and I hope anyone seeing this feels the same...
If you’ve scrolled all the way here, thank you. I hope you enjoyed this 2022 collection.
