        RAMM Wedding Photography

        Rosie & Dom

The Royal Albert Memorial Museum, a great Exeter attraction, is a place we regularly go with the kids. I was there just a few days before Rosie sent an email asking if I was free for her and Dom’s wedding day at RAMM. Excited was not the word. This would be my first time as a wedding photographer at RAMM, in fact, the first ever wedding photographer at RAMM to capture a wedding ceremony. Fast forward a few months and I’m inside gallery 20 with all their wedding guests, surrounded by fantastic works of art.

Wedding At Royal Albert Memorial Museum

From our first meet up to the wedding day itself, it’s clear Rosie and Dom care a lot for the community of Exeter, hence their choice of wedding venues. It was a lovely ceremony, filled with personal touches, and afterwards the guests enjoyed canapés alongside the paintings on display. The weather was kind enough to hold off for a confetti exit and everyone made their way down river, to the Double Locks.

        Wedding Reception At Double Locks

Another first for me, going to Double Locks as a wedding photographer (and not for the usual alcoholic beverage!). Being an Exeter boy born and raised, it was simply fantastic to see these places I’ve visited so many times transformed into a great wedding space. Double Locks was were we settled in for the night, seeing some very funny speeches, often at poor Dom’s expense. You see, Roise had accidentally deleted Dom’s speech from his phone moments before him taking to the mic. This lead to a last minute re-write, or should that be re-type? Did that stop friends sending push notifications to Dom’s phone to interrupt his speech, no, no it did not.

The night finished on a high with some superb dance moves, all aided by Rosie and Dom’s expertly crafted music playlist. An absolute joy of a wedding to photograph, for many reasons, but mostly because of two wonderful people in Rosie and Dom.
