Wedding photography at Knowle Country House

At the end of last summer I made the journey East to the lovely Knowle County House for Grace and Liam's wedding day. This was my first time as a wedding photographer at Knowle Country House, being based in Devon I do travel all over the UK, but Grace and Liam's wedding gave me a little tour of Kent.

I met Grace and Liam earlier in the year for their Richmond Park engagement shoot. We talked about their Knowle Country House wedding plans whilst walking around the park and capturing some relaxed portraits.

Wedding Photographer at Knowle Country House

I started my day with Grace and her bridesmaids at their hotel room, getting the final touches ready and have a glass of champagne or two. The ceremony itself was at nearby church, while the reception was at Knowle Country House itself. Liam, as a Welshman, was particularly pleased so include the infamous Welsh hymn 'Bread Of Heaven' into the service, a mid wedding smile when looking at his English university friends joining in with the signing.

At the reception guests took in the sunshine whilst enjoying a drink in the garden. Before we knew it, it was time for speeches and as the last light of the day was dropping below the horizon we slipped out to the nearby grounds for some portraits. Grace and Liam did a grand job with their first dance and fiends and family joined not long after, including Grace's dad have a dance with his now son-in-law! We ended the night with a sparkler line, which is always a great send off. It was a super fun wedding day giving plenty of energy for the drive back to Devon.
