Tipi Wedding in Shropshire
Emma & Calum

This is the amazing wedding of Emma & Calum. They had a beautiful summer tipi wedding in Shropshire. From preparations at the family home, getting married at the nearby church and celebrating the night away in the packed tipi it was non stop love and laughter.
The reason I was the lucky photographer to capture their big day was because they’ve previously travelled to Devon for family weddings and saw me action. When they reached out for their big day I was so excited and happily headed north on the M5 to photograph their wedding day. The day started with preparations at Emma’s family home. This is my favourite start to a wedding day, getting ready where people feel most comfortable surrounded by family history. Before heading to the church down the road we had a dress reveal which is always great fun.
The ceremony was simply lovely, including some wonderful readings and music provided from friends. It was a touch windy which made for a fun confetti exit, and seeing the bridal party exit on a tractor was great fun. We grabbed some portraits back in the garden before joining the party at the tipi.
The guests were in for some brilliant speeches, leading to one of my favourite images from the day, Calum giving his dad a big hug the top table. The dance floor did not disappoint and I headed back to the Purple Palace with a big smile on my face after being surrounded by so much joy and love. Here’s a selection of Emma & Calum’s wedding day…
