The stars aligned for this one! This was my first visit for some Trevenna Barns wedding photography. I'd only heard great things. So when Charlotte & Mike got in touch, because their wonderful friends Sophie & Alex recommended me, I was excited to see what I could capture for them. It was a misty April wedding in the Cornish countryside and set a very high bar for the 2023 wedding season!

Wedding Photographer at Trevenna Barns

Charlotte and her bridal party got ready in the Threshing Barn whilst Mike and his groomsmen were helping put together the final touches for the ceremony and welcoming guests. There may have been a trip to the nearby London Inn somewhere in there also.

Charlotte made her way down the famous Trevenna staircase to see Mike for their indoor ceremony. This lead to one of my favourite images of the gallery, seen below, as Charlotte and her dad walk down the aisle together as all the guests are beaming smiles. It was a beautiful ceremony.

How many photos do you deliver?

How much is a Trevenna Barns wedding photographer?

Similar to pricing, you'll find photographers deliver wedding galleries with different amounts of photos. I'm an advocate of not having set hours, I love to photograph from morning to night and adding zero stress if things runs late. As a result I leave with lots of photos to edit! A typical wedding with 100 or so guests ends up providing 700-900 images in the final gallery.

What camera equipment do you use?

How much coverage do you provide at Trevenna Barns?

I use two Sony a9 cameras with a selection of prime lenses. These are totally silent cameras, you won't hear a single camera click all day. I have a third back up body in the bag with a choice of lenses that I can choose from to best fit the scene. Over the years I've found a stream lined kit that gets it all done with little fuss.

Years ago I got rid of having set hours. It complicates pricing and it's rare a wedding runs exactly to schedule. For this amazing Trevenna wedding I started with bridal prep in the morning and went through to the awesome Daft Punk DJ set late into the night. It's not often a wedding runs to the planned time and that's OK with me.
