Nancarrow Farm Wedding Photography
Kate & JP
For my last wedding of 2017 I found myself at Nancarrow Farm in Cornwall. This was indeed the second time that year I’d be photographing a wedding at Nancarrow, and what a wedding venue to end my year on. It’s December, a tad chilly but sunny! Kate and JP travelled down from London with their friends and family, and with their planning and the excellent team at Nancarrow the day went smoothly.
Wedding Photography At Nancarrow
I arrived in the morning and spent some time with Kate and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite. Champagne was on the go, along with lots of laughter, and then the mini rave started when their favourite song popped up on the playlist with Kate mid make up. Not long after we made the short walk to the Nancarrow barn for the ceremony decorated in winter festive floral arrangements. It was a lovely ceremony, including some personal readings by friends. After a fun confetti line, where every last petal was utilised(!), it was time for some warm cider.
A first for me on a wedding day was seeing a pub style quiz for the guests in between courses, which I thought was a great idea! JP did a super job of telling the story of how he and Kate met and getting in some pre best man laughs to soften the upcoming speech. Before we knew it is was time for dancing, including a rendition of Frozen’s Let It Go! Congrats Kate and JP on a super wedding day!
