Lizard Point wedding in Cornwall
Cornwall has so much to offer when it comes to weddings, and Lizard Point is a highlight for sure. Jess and Adam created a wonderful DIY summer wedding at Lizard Point. When planning a wedding day, like this coastal one, you rely on a certain amount of luck for the weather to be on your side, and it did not disappoint.
Starting at the Lizard Point Lighthouse, Jess and her family were getting ready and enjoying a glass of champagne. Adam was busy greeting guests, just up the path at Tregullas Farm. This was the first ever wedding at Tregullas Farm. Jess and Adam created their own wedding style at the farm, and this would be where the ceremony would take place.
Cornwall Coast Wedding
This is not a far cry from my usual wedding photographer devon but the point is the same, it's is all about the natural moments, and this is why Jess and Adam initially enquired because this is what they were after. Not being a licensed property to hold ceremonies, it gives a great opportunity to create a bespoke humanist ceremony, which I feel lets the couple include their own story. After the ceremony it was a joyous walk along the coastal path with all the guests back to the lighthouse, where the canapés were served and everyone enjoyed the sunshine. This was a chance to walk along the path and capture some wedding portraits. While the lovely staff at the farm prepared the wedding breakfast, speeches were held at the lighthouse steps. The tables had a continental feel to it all, eating outside in the sunshine with long tables filled with conversation. Before we knew it it was time for the band to set up and provide a night of celebration in the rustic barn. So here is a sample of this Lizard Point wedding and the wonderful people that are Jess and Adam...
