One sunny September Saturday I headed to Harbour Hotel Salcombe for Sarah & Adam's lovely wedding day. Despite having worked in Salcombe a few times now this was my first visit for some Harbour Hotel Salcombe wedding photography. With great views along the estuary it's a great space for couples to get wed.

Sarah, Adam and most of their guests made the big trip from the north of England to enjoy a weekend on the Devon coast. As a photographer you always get a good work out at a Salcombe wedding as being such a popular spot parking can be limited. So having parked the car up the hill it was time to walk the 500 steps down to the hotel with all my gear strapped to me whatever way I could.
Sarah and her bridesmaids got ready in one of the hotel rooms as Adam and the rest of the wedding party enjoyed a drink along the terrace. The ceremony, conducted by a friend, was lovely. Guests enjoyed some canapés, along with some saxophone music, as we quickly popped over to the private terrace to get some family shots.
I really enjoyed our walk through town to get some portraits, with passing tourists passing on their congratulations. The highlight for me was the great dance floor action. Everyone joining in, singing their hearts out to some great music, even picking up Adam to throw in the air! Here's a little selection of Sarah & Adam's Harbour Hotel wedding photography...
About The Wedding Venue
The Harbour Hotel Salcombe is an idyllic wedding venue along the South Devon Coast. A stunning boutique hotel with views along the estuary. The Marine Room, featured here for Sarah & Adam's ceremony, is the main event space which has a capacity for 120 people. Guests can enjoy drinks on the private outdoor terrace, which also provides a great backdrop for the photos.

The flowers featured here were provided by the talented Twig Salcombe, and the decor was done by the lovely Laura Louise Hall Weddings. The make up artist, Make Up By Jordan, did a great job in the morning and the stunning cake was made and decorated by Queen Bee Cakes.
