I have a tendency to write too much in these posts! However, this one was a little different to most. I used to work with Emily, and a few years later I end up photographing her and Andy's wedding at Bickley Mill. On top of that, Emily and Andy were also guests at two 2016 weddings that I photographed, so if there was ever a bride and groom that knew what they were getting, it was these two!
Wedding Day
I started this wedding photographer Devon day with some prep photos with Emily and her bridesmaids. Everything was being held at Bickley Mill, and by all accounts Emily had transformed the ceremony room into something unique and wonderful. Getting set up for the ceremony I see lots of familiar faces, old friends and amazing couples I'd photographed last year.
After a lovely (and very smiley) ceremony it was time for some drinks in the gardens. The rain held off just long enough to get some family photos before returning for the speeches. Before the evening's festivities kicked off the guests were treated to some magic, something that's always fun to capture, especially in the case of Laura and Josh.
The day was topped off with some great music and fantastic dancing. Not to forget the hardcore guests that braved the rain for a glow stick line in the dark, full credit to you!
