Well, it was about time! Being a wedding photographer Devon, last summer was shockingly my first time for some The Great Barn wedding photography. That elusive Devon venue just 20 minutes or so away from home never seemed to find its way to my calendar. To add more, Corrie and Adam planned the chunk of their wedding whilst living in Australia. This I think is the fourth couple to live in Oz, to get in touch for their Devon wedding, quite the journey eh.

The day started with Corrie and her bridesmaids, getting ready just a stone's throw from the huge doors of the Great Barn. Champagne and finishing touches to flower crowns make for a fun morning. Before we knew it, it was off to the barn itself for the ceremony, with that famous entrance way and selected lights. We had a sunny exit down the steps for confetti before some fun and games in the garden. The speeches were a particular highlight for me, I'm a sucker for an emotional speech and Corrie's dad did her proud.
Come evening, the rain couldn't hold off any longer, but it didn't matter. By that time the first dance was in full swing. Everyone joined in for some dance floor action, and rounded off a great wedding at The Great Barn.

About the Venue
Located in Higher Ashton, just outside of Exeter, you'll find The Great Barn, Devon. A superb barn wedding venue that provides onsite accommodation for weddings, and it's available for 3 day bookings so the entire wedding party get to enjoy a long weekend in Devon, just like Corrie & Adam did in the above wedding. The barn, with its impressive doors, can hold 160 guests with round tables, and once parked up all ceremony, party and sleeping locations are all on site.
