The Lead Up To The Wedding
From the moment you enquire, my goal is to make everything simple & transparent. I’m not a “sales” kind of photographer, I prefer a relaxed chat where we can talk about your day, what matters most to you, & how you want it to feel. With over 11 years photographing weddings across Devon & the South West, I know that every couple has their own rhythm. Whether it’s helping plan your timeline or picking the best photos spots, I’m here to make sure the photography fits seamlessly into your plans, not the other way around.My aim is that when your wedding comes around, it feels like a friend with a camera is documenting your story — not a stranger giving instructions.
On The Wedding Day
On the day itself, my approach is calm, professional & unobtrusive. I use silent camera gear, so you’ll hardly notice me working. My focus is on capturing natural emotion, not interrupting it. From the laughter during prep to the tears during speeches, I’m there for it all. You won’t find me staging moments or redoing first kisses. Instead, I work quietly in the background so you can focus on what really matters, being present with your favourite people.
My goal is simple: when you look back on your wedding photographs, I want you to feel your day again, the energy, the joy, & the emotion of it all.
Editing: The Art Behind the Scenes
After your wedding the creative process continues in my office. Every single image you receive has been individually hand edited by me, no outsourcing, no AI shortcuts, no batch processing. This personal approach ensures that your gallery remains cohesive, refined & reflective of the real atmosphere of your day. My editing style is natural, true-to-life & consistent. Designed to look just as beautiful now as it will in 20 years. I work with professional software like Lightroom & Photoshop to fine tune each image while maintaining the integrity of the moment. This personal process is part of what gives your gallery its authentic, documentary feel & reinforces that your photos are truly yours. I focus on natural tones, soft contrast & subtle warmth that brings out the emotion without feeling overly processed.
Gallery Delivery: Relive It All Again
Your story deserves to be experienced, not just seen. That’s why every couple receives a private, beautifully presented online gallery, designed to be shared easily with friends & family. You’ll also receive either a hand-curated highlight slideshow or a highlight video, depending upon what you choose, that perfectly captures the emotion. All high resolution images are ready for download with no watermarks, usage restrictions or hidden costs. I want your photographs to live on your walls, in your home & in your memories. Not locked behind extra fees or sales packages. You can order fine-art prints or albums if you wish, again no pressure, no hidden extras.
