Watermouth Cove Wedding Photography

Rachel & Max

What an absolute joy this wedding day was. This was my first visit for some Watermouth Cove wedding photography and Rachel and Max planned a perfect wedding day by the beach.

I arrived in the morning and got some arial images of Watermouth Cove before seeing Rachel with her bridesmaids and Max getting the final touches ready with his groomsmen. The weather was being a little fickle, but we managed to hold the ceremony outside with the stunning backdrop that Watermouth Cove has to offer.

It was a beautiful ceremony with a long a chaotic confetti line leading back to the reception for drinks. After some hugs we grabbed some portraits along the coastline and some family shots down on the private beach. After some touching speeches in The Stonehouse it was time for something I’ve never seen at a wedding before, Baumstamm Sägen. It’s a German tradition of the wedding couple sawing a log together, the first challenge as a married couple that can be overcome together.

This is a big reason why I love photographing weddings, because there’s always something new to capture. Before we knew it it was time for the first dance, which lead to some very fun dance floor action. I drove home back down through Devon with a big smile on my face excited to jump into the edit. Here’s a selection of their Watermouth Cove wedding photography…
