With its collection of restored barns, beautiful gardens and accommodation all in one place, it offers couples the chance to create a wedding weekend that feels personal, private and completely their own. Having photographed weddings here across multiple years, it’s a venue I’ve come to appreciate not only for its appearance, but the lovely wedding atmosphere the environment and wedding team deliver.

One of the reasons I enjoy photographing weddings at The Green is that it naturally lends itself to a documentary approach. Guests tend to spread out across the grounds, conversations happen organically and there is always something unfolding somewhere. Rather than directing the day, I focus on quietly documenting it as it happens, capturing the atmosphere, interactions and small moments that often become the most meaningful photographs over time.
The layout of the venue also means couples can spend more time with their guests and less time moving between locations. From morning preparations through to the evening celebrations, everything flows naturally, helping create a relaxed atmosphere that translates into genuine photographs.

About The Green Cornwall
Nestled on the edge of Bodmin Moor, The Green Cornwall is one of Cornwall’s most established exclusive use wedding venues. Originally a working farm, the venue has been transformed into a private wedding village surrounded by orchards, meadows and countryside views. Couples have exclusive use of the estate, with multiple ceremony and reception spaces that allow the day to flow naturally regardless of the season or weather. The venue is licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies and can host weddings of up to around 140 guests, making it equally suited to larger celebrations and more intimate gatherings. Accommodation is one of The Green’s biggest strengths, with a collection of luxury cottages, a farmhouse and guest rooms that allow many of your closest friends and family to stay on site throughout the wedding weekend. Depending on room configuration, accommodation is available for approximately 32–42 guests, helping create the relaxed, multi-day atmosphere that many couples are looking for when planning a destination wedding in Cornwall.
