I love photographing proposals in Devon! It's full of beautiful locations for someone to ask the big question. I've been lucky to photograph lots of proposals and it's a joy to document, often providing an additional surprise when delivering a full gallery of images of the big moment. Just like my wedding photographer Devon work, I don't interrupt the moment and quietly document the proposal. The shoot can include photographing the proposal itself followed by a couple shoot if you wish. It’s a fantastic way to capture the beginnings of becoming a married couple.

There are a variety of amazing options! There are so many locations in Devon where you might want to propose, a lot of the time it's somewhere special to the couple and it's an easy choice. Maybe you're travelling to Devon and aren't sure what's available. If you're a fan of woodlands then Haldon Forest is high on the list. Easy to find with lots of trails to follow, there's plenty of spots to ask the question. There's an abundance of coastline to choose from if you want to propose on a beach, if South Devon is your location then Sandy Bay, near Exmouth, is lovely and often quiet. If you're planing to propose in the city then rest assured that a photo can be made pretty much anywhere!
