Shilstone House Wedding Photography
I'm always thrilled to return to for some Shilstone House wedding photography, there's always a great vibe to the day. The venue has beautiful grounds, with views for miles, providing a host of options for wedding photos. Whereas every Shilstone wedding is unique, the connection to the ones I've photographed are big, fun, party weddings which simply are a joy to photograph. I'm pleased to say I'm a recommended supplier at Shilstone. My wedding photography is people focused, not manufacturing moments, but capturing the day as it unfolds, with all the laughs and hugs included! Below is a selection of my Shilstone House wedding photography.

"Lee, words just don’t cut it when trying to describe how happy we are with our wedding photos! ...You were described by our guests as “a ninja” ...and as a result we have some brilliant and hilarious photos that we will treasure. We absolutely loved having you at our wedding and by the end of the day you felt more like a guest than a photographer!

About the Wedding Venue
Shilstone House is a dream wedding venue for a wedding photographer like me. First and foremost you'll have a fantastic team in place to help run the day, and of course the Georgian manor is surrounded by beautiful grounds providing lots of options for photos. Available for exclusive hire it provides a seclusion to hold your wedding day whilst still being easily connected to nearby cities of Exeter & Plymouth via the A30. Fully licensed to hold indoor and outdoor ceremonies it's a great choice for couples looking for a relaxed wedding with a touch of history and luxury to it all.
Tips For A Shilstone House Wedding
I've been fortunate to photograph a few Shilstone House weddings, and when a Shilstone enquiry pops into the inbox it's always exciting to see what the couple have planned. I'm local to south Devon and know the area well. I've been a wedding photographer for eight years and couples who are seeking a documentary approach to their wedding day are a perfect fit. Whitmore and Meadow Barn are both great locations for bridal preparations, accommodating 36 guests each. You'll likely find stylists and photographers both gravitating to natural light sources. With only a short trip to the ceremony barn itself it's a super convenient venue for logistics.
The walkway to the manor house is ideal for confetti, allowing a fun and efficient way to canapés and drinks. As the day unfolds guests move through the grounds onto the Mughal Marquee, which is able to hold 220 guests. Depending upon what time of year you have your wedding, between 6 and 8pm is a great time to slip away for some portraits. The South Lawn, Orchard and Terrace all make for great location for wedding photos.
