Deer Park Wedding Photography
I love Deer Park as a wedding venue. It was the first ever venue I visited as a wedding photographer when I started my career. I've returned on average once a wedding season and it's always exciting to get a Deer Park Country House wedding enquiry. The weddings are always amazing fun to photograph and there's always something new to document with the variety of weddings they can provide in the beautiful grounds.
Wedding Photographer at Deer Park
Wedding photographers chat about their work together, and Deer Park is a favourite venue to work at. It's one of Devon's most popular wedding venues, and for good reason. I get to see the couples enjoyment of the day. The team do a brilliant job running the day with so much attention to detail. EVERYONE loves the food there. What's exciting about Deer Park is that it's constantly evolving, something I've enjoyed over the seven years I've returned. I've photographed weddings at Deer Park in all seasons, it's a venue that looks great all year round with the options they have available. Here is a sample of my Deer Park wedding photography:
"When we received our finished album we were blown away by how accurately Lee had captured the day and the quality of the photos... If you’re looking for a wedding photographer book Lee - you will not be disappointed!"

Are you a recommended supplier?
How much is Deer Park wedding photography?
Yes, I'm pleased to say I am a recommended supplier of Deer Park. Having photographed their several times over the last seven years I'm always happy to receive a Deer Park enquiry. What's great about the venue is the variety of weddings it can host and allow couples to style their day how they wish. I'm based near Honiton and have easy access to the location.
You can see my wedding pricing here. Upon researching photographers you'll likely find a variety of prices based on a few factors, the two main being experience of the photographer and what their 'package' includes. I personally prefer to keep things super simple and offer one price that provides unlimited coverage. I'm there all day, with no cap on the photos delivered or gallery limits.
How many photos do you deliver?
Can you recommend a trusted supplier?
It's a popular question, with a variable answer. I don't limit the number of images I shoot on the day, or subsequently edit thereafter. I include in the gallery every photo I believe reflects your wedding day and to the high standard I set for myself. A typical all day wedding would receive between 600-900 wedding images.
Absolutely! Down below you'll find a selection of wedding suppliers that I've worked with at Deer Park weddings. All of which I can recommend as people who do a great job and provide a great service on the day. It's important that which ever supplier you're considering that they match your personality and only add to your day.

Devon Country House Wedding Venue
Deer Park is a beautiful country house in East Devon, near Honiton. It was actually the first wedding venue I ever visited as a wedding photographer. Each year that I return there is something new about the place, a refurbishment or new addition to the space, that shows how much care the team put into it all. With 80 acres of space, filled with beautiful gardens, there's so much to take in. Not forgetting the walled garden that helps supply for much raved about kitchen. With the ability to hold more than 200 people in the orangery it has all the ingredients for an amazing wedding reception, with of course a truly unique bridal suite with the treehouse.
Tips for Deer Park Wedding
What I love about Deer Park is the variety it provides. With so much space to enjoy you can smash a wedding no matter the season. With the stunning Italian garden and orangery you can hold a wonderful ceremony no matter the weather. Not many venues have the option but fireworks always goes down well with guests, something to end the day with a bang. I would suggest utilising the steps leading towards the country house for some family photos during the canapé hour, to get great views but also super convenient for guests. Depending upon what time of year you get married you have lots of options to get that golden hour light. The field beyond the pizza oven is a great spot, as is the walkway along the main drive if a bit wet under foot. I have a couples guide to how to get the best out of your Deer Park wedding photos.
