[BTS] No.2 'Tis The Season To Be Jolly...

Here's a little insight into how the family and I spent Christmas this year. Spilt across four days, three houses and two counties, it was presents galore! With the last collection of wedding photos of 2016 completed and delivered it's the longest amount of time that I didn't step into the office this year! Armed with nothing more than 1 camera, a 24 and 50mm lens this is what I captured.

This was Zoe's first Christmas and we started early with the presents, including a new toothbrush for all three of her teeth(!), before heading to Mum and Dad's for Christmas lunch and games...

On Boxing Day we headed down to St Ives to stay with my lovely in-laws, after some [more] presents we took a stroll along the beach...

The following day we walked off our two Christmas dinners through the town and attempted to find some 'treasure' on the harbour beach. What are the chances that we managed to find some silver!?

Eve and I went for a sunrise walk the next day, the weather was so good to us for our stay, and I managed to get one of my favourite photos of her looking at her first sunrise. Then, in the afternoon, we braved the sea one more time...

The last evening, before heading back home, I explored the town and focused on some 'street' photography, a term used loosely when you struggle to get a small car through some of the town. I walked along the harbour twice to try and get the famous St Ives seagulls in action agasint the innocent bystanders, but no success. Maybe they were on holiday too?

I hope you had a fantastic Christmas, and wishing you all the luck for 2017.
