[BTS] No.12 Italy
It’s the Easter holidays and the wedding photography season is about to get into full swing, for me anyway. There was a random gap in the calendar, and it also happened to be that Zoe’s and my birthdays were coming up. These are all good things! But we had the idea to get away and have a family adventure, so with just a few days of planning and booking we found ourselves on a Italian road trip.
Rebecca and I love Italy, a country full of history, stunning views and of course great food. However, this was my first time in Italy since becoming a wedding photographer, so I was rather excited to get some photos of our travels. I also wanted to try and implement more video this time too. Record those sounds and movements that are quickly lost and forgotten when the kids grow up so fast.
We would fly into Venice, get in a car and head SW to Tuscany. Spend our days visiting the likes of Siena, Florence and exploring idyllic small towns before heading back North and explore the small streets of Venice. So if you fancy it, put the kettle on and take a look at how our week in Italy went…
