At Tunnels Beaches
That's one off the wedding bucket list, the stunning Tunnels Beaches. It's been a dream wedding venue for me for a while now, and I was super happy to get the initial email, but it was absolutely made all the better for being from Steph and Henry. You couldn't ask for a nicer couple to spend time with and document their wedding day, and my word did they put together a fantastic wedding!
Updated for 2023 - you can see loads more of my Tunnels Beaches wedding photography here.
Steph and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the Courtyard. It was a super chilled morning, I mean really chilled. The kind of chilled where the bride might be told off for being too relaxed by friends and family 🙂 I also made the short trip through the tunnel to see Henry and his groomsmen on the rooftop enjoying their Japanese whisky.
The Wedding Day
It was a proper sunny Saturday afternoon, perfect for some Tunnels Beaches wedding photography. It's fair to say Henry went through a roller coaster of emotions as Steph made her way down the aisle. It was a wonderful ceremony to photograph, and celebrated in great style after being announced as husband and wife!
Now, this wedding provided a few wedding firsts for me, one being a first dance outside, with a routine nonetheless! Another was a breakdance battle! This was so much fun to shoot, it wasn't until afterwards that I realised that these epic moves were being done on cobble stones in their wedding attire! When driving back home reflecting on the day it was full of fun. Steph and Henry have a great bunch of friends and family around them and they celebrated in style. If it's not doing bundles on deck chairs it's running into the sea fully clothed. A fantastic wedding to photograph!
"We absolutely love them... We laughed, I cried, we smiled and laughed some more. They are great photos and definitely captured the vibe of the day."
