This is the wonderful summer wedding of Charlotte & Dom at Sandy Cove Hotel in Devon. This was my second time as a wedding photographer at Sandy Cove and it was a joy to return for a special wedding day indeed. My first visit for a Sandy Cove wedding was in fact my third ever wedding as a photographer, seven years ago now(!), and it was great to return and see all the wonderful changes Sandy Cove have made in their renovation.

Charlotte & Dom's wedding was a fantastic day created in almost no time at all. Their big day was in the summer of 2020, a year for the history books indeed. After the initial lockdown restrictions were loosened in early summer they put the gears in motion to plan their wedding. Within eight weeks they had everything in place, 30 family and friends to attend their wedding at Sandy Cove. For them it was small wedding they always wanted.

It was a sunny September day, perfect for the views that Sandy Cove has to offer. My day started with some preparations in the hotel as guests gathered for the ceremony. Charlotte made her way down the aisle with her mum, and Dom may or may not have had a tear in his eye.

It was a wonderful ceremony filled with love and smiles and afterwards guests enjoyed some canapés with views across the bay. We captured some wedding portraits around Sandy Cove before heading back inside for some speeches. For me that was the end of my day, with music being limited to playlists only, guests enjoyed a quiet evening taking in the views along the Devon coast. I left to drive home with a big smile after a fantastic wedding day.
