Richmond Park Engagement Shoot
London Engagement Shoot / Steph & Sam
Back in the summer heat wave I had the pleasure of meeting up with Steph and Sam for their engagement shoot in Richmond Park, London. They wanted a pre-wedding shoot ahead of their Old Vicarage Boutique wedding in Nottinghamshire. It was a beaut of a summer’s day and we took a stroll around Richmond Park whilst talking wedding plans. Just like my wedding photography this is done in a relaxed way, no ‘1-2-3 cheese’, just picking a nice location and easing into a shot. I am myself a tough subject for a photo, I can’t look at camera without feeling awkward, and I apply the same logic to couples when shooting. No looking at camera, but just let people be themselves and shoot around that.
Pre Wedding Photography London
With the scenic views of Richmond Park there were so many locations to select, but often found ourselves in a spot of shade to avoid the harsh summer light. It was great to chat plans, Steph and Sam had some amazing ideas for their big day. If you’ve stumbled across this blog and wondering if this is something you want to do, get in touch, I’m just an email away. The benefit of these kind of shoots is to maybe warm up to the camera ahead of the wedding day, or maybe have some lovely engagement shoot photos to use for your wedding invites or wedding decorations? It’s also nice to meet in person with your chosen wedding photographer before the main event, if geography makes it tricky. Here’s a sample from their Richmond Park shoot…
