Autumn Wedding in Exeter

Back in the autumn the lovely Sarah and Matt got married at Reed Hall in Exeter. Sarah and Matt embraced the autumn theme with pumpkins and leaves as decorations and planned a relaxed day with family and friends. This is my latest wedding at the university, you can see more of my Reed Hall wedding photography here.

I started upstairs at the Hall with Sarah's preparations, Matt arriving later in a surprise lift in a Jaguar with his brother. The weather was kind and stayed dry throughout the day. Matt and I used to work together, so it was great to be asked to capture his wedding day. It's fair to say their might have been some nerves on the go, for both Sarah and Matt, but it was clear what a big day this was for them both, especially having their lovely son Ethan to witness it all.

After the ceremony it was time for confetti and drinks on the steps. We took a stroll around the gardens before returning for food and speeches. It was great to catch up with old friends at dinner and of course see Matt get mocked by his brother during his best man speech. It was a fun filled wedding day, a joy to photograph and so much fun to see old friends on a wedding day.
