Pre Wedding Shoot London
London Pre Wedding Photography / Grace & Liam
I met up with Grace and Liam one sunny Sunday in the summer. The previous Saturday I was shooting a wedding at Sudeley Castle and was excited head East to meet up, chat wedding plans and get some shots around Richmond Park, London. Grace and Liam wanted a pre-wedding shoot ahead of their Knowle Country House wedding in Kent, which was just a few weeks away. Richmond Park is huge, I mean crazy big, so even on the sunniest of days with cyclists and families taking in the views there are still plenty of spots to find for some relaxed portraits.
Engagement Shoot In Richmond Park
It was lovely to put faces to our emails and calls which we exchanged over the previous few months. We took a stroll around Pembrook Lodge at the North end of the park, which included a beautiful tunnel, a perfect spot to hide away from the midday sun and get creative with the compositions. It was great to chat ideas, Grace and Liam had some great ideas for their wedding day. If you’ve randomly come across this post and wondering if a pre-wedding shoot is something you might want to do, get in touch, I’m just an email away. The benefit of these kind of shoots is to maybe warm up to the camera ahead of the wedding day, it’s also great to meet in person with your selected wedding photographer before the big day itself, if locations makes it tricky. I’m a documentary wedding photographer by trade, and as such want the whole process to feel relaxed to create natural images that feel real to the couple. Here’s a sample from their London pre-wedding shoot…
Looking for an engagement shoot ahead of the big day, get in touch and say hello. I travel all around the UK documenting weddings and it’d be great to hear your plans.
