Lower Barns Elopement Wedding in Cornwall

This was my first time as a wedding photographer at Lower Barns in Cornwall, and what a treat it was! Rebekah and Claire planned a wonderful intimate wedding at Lower Barns with their closest friends and family. Travelling down into Cornwall, a venue designed for small weddings was high on their list, and you simply can’t beat those Cornwall wedding views!

Upon arrival I was loving the quirky nature to Lower Barns styling, full of colour and character. Tucked away in its own little location, every nook and cranny seemed to have a hidden feature. Now knowing Rebekah and Claire better, it’s an obvious fit to their personality and wedding plans.

After photographing some of the preparations it was time for the outdoor ceremony. It was a wonderful personalised ceremony with individual readings from each bride. From minute one it was obvious both brides, and their families, were crazy about dogs, and they were a big part of the wedding proceedings. The ceremony was quickly followed by some dancing and confetti and before-long it was time for some fantastic food prepared by the owners Janie and Mike.

This is where myself and videographer Tommy Rowe witnessed some truly amazing and emotional speeches, it was all so clear why this intimate wedding came to be and how important everyone was to each other. Before sunset we took a quick drive to a nearby beach to get some bridal portraits, it was idiclic conditions and a wedding photographer’s dream to document.
