This is the epitome of why being a wedding photographer is just an amazing job to have. Being asked to capture a wedding which is full of laughter and non-stop fun. Despite both being doctors, I now refer to Clare and Matt as professional smilers, I don't think I found a photo where they're together and not smiling, such a joy to photograph.
The majority of the day was held at Broomhill Hotel near Barnstaple, with the ceremony at the church in town. I was asked to only shoot the entrance and exit of the ceremony by the minister (my finger may have slipped on the shutter button during the first kiss!), and after the ceremony we took the long way back to Broomhill for some portraits in the countryside. Broomhill also has this amazing collection of sculptures in their garden, making for a great backdrop for images.
The evening included some lovely and funny speeches, in which Jeremy Hunt may have got a mention of two in a not so positive light! A Fuji Instax camera was being shared around with the guests to contribute their own photos, and finished off with some great dancing. A superb wedding day with a fantastic couple to capture!
