Perfection. Absolute wedding perfection. I don’t think a smile left my face the whole day, and as a result I blended in well with the guests as everyone seemed to have a fantastic time at Madelin and Alex’s wedding at Bridwell, here in Devon. Madelin could easily quit her job as a solicitor and become a successful wedding planner as she and Alex put together such a great day. This was my first visit as a wedding photographer Bridwell. Beaming sunshine, a relaxed couple and non-stop entertainment created a day of joy and endless opportunities to photograph. Before I hand it over to the images, a shout out to Casey of Oyster And Pearl Design, a great wedding stationer based in Devon. Without whom I wouldn’t have met Madelin and Alex…
Wedding at Brdiwell Park
My day started with Madelin in the wonderful Bridwell Manor house getting ready, while Alex was getting the final touches together in the library. The ceremony was going to be in the neighbouring chapel with the reception in the orangery. It was a glorious September day with guests filling the chapel, balcony and all. It was a wonderful ceremony followed by a super fun confetti line into the sunshine. The day was created so well, allowing guests to enjoy the glorious Bridwell estate, including some garden games with Jenga and piñata. With some tasty food in the garden guests enjoyed some lovely speeches, including the kids getting in on the jokes. With the orangery converted into a dance floor it was a fantastic end to the wedding day and left just so happy I was able to attend as their Bridwell wedding photographer. Here’s a selection from their Bridwell Park wedding….
Are you getting married at Bridwell Park? Please say hello, I’d love to hear what you have in the making! I’m a wedding photographer Devon and would love to return.
