Fun wedding on Devon beach

What a wedding day! This is Rachel and Luke’s beach wedding in Devon. They got married at Woolacombe Bay, in the nearby hotel, but a big part of the day was spent outside enjoying the summer sun, including a morning dip in the sea and walking along the beach at sunset. This was the summer of 2018, when for about two months there wasn’t much rain to be found anywhere, and it was a beaut of a summer’s day. Like most couples who book me to photographer their wedding day, Rachel and Luke were all about documenting the day, capturing the real moments. Even when it comes to ‘portraits’, it can be done in a relaxed way. No awkward posing, but just taking 10 minutes in that lovely golden light ti walk along the beach and enjoy the moment.

A wedding that’s designed to be relaxed and enjoyed by everyone, so walking around and capturing all the fun is a blast.
