Anran Wedding Photography – Tidwell Farm

I’m not sure if Helen and Paul could have picked a wetter day of 2016 to get married! But no matter the weather, they put together a fantastic day. They held their wedding at Anran in Devon, a farm with an interesting balance of rustic and modern features, and as a wedding photographer it gave plenty of opportunities.

Helen was getting ready, with some questionable music from Paul’s iPad(!) at Anran, for the ceremony at the nearby church. This is when Helen’s mum came to the rescue for some last minute adjustments to the bridesmaids’ dresses!

Wedding Day At Anran

After a lovely service Helen and Paul exited under a sea of umbrellas and confetti, so despite the rain you get to capture some unique images! We took a stroll around Anran for some portraits before returning to the huge greenhouse for the reception. Paul comes from (in part) a Maltese family, so the tables were named after regions of the mediterranean island.

The night continued with music and laughter, but just before I called it quits for the day we captured a night portrait under a walkway. With the rain still coming down it provided the chance to capture the day for what it was, wet and fun! This whole day is definitely an experience as a wedding photographer devon that I will never forget!
